The Golden State Warriors are doing everything in their power to make the playoffs, but they’ll likely be playing in the play-in tournament and attempt to win the Larry O’Brien trophy from there.
The Dubs need every single person on their roster to pull their weight if they’re ever going to make a deep run in the playoffs. From Stephen Curry to the last player on the roster, every member must pull their weight.
However, the Warriors may be facing a problem as one of their key contributors is back at it with shenanigans that have long irked basketball fans from him. What’s worse is that he did this before he was ejected from the game against the Orlando Magic the next day.
Draymond Green gets called out for antics during the Golden State Warriors’ game against the Miami Heat
During the Warriors’ 113-92 win against the Miami Heat, Draymond Green got into a bit of a scuffle with Patty Mills to get into better position underneath the basket.
It was in this moment that Green got excessively violent and clotheslined the Heat guard:

Fans didn’t like what Green did and didn’t hold back when it came to criticizing the four-time champ on social media, per The Spun’s Tzvi Machlin:
“I’ve had enough it’s time to kick him out the league,” one user wrote.
“He’s doing this on purpose at this point,” another suspected.
“Bro gave him a Randy Orton back breaker I’m weak,” wrote a third, referencing a professional wrestling move similar to what Green did there.
Green played 27 minutes for the Dubs, finishing with four points, nine rebounds, eight assists, two steals, and five fouls.
Even Golden State Warriors fans have a hard time defending Green whenever he gets physical. There have been plenty of times when he’s been involved in scuffles with other players.
Many will remember the huge fight he had with Jordan Poole before the 2023-24 season started. His hit on Steven Adams’ groin was also a huge talking point. His stomp on Domantas Sabonis clearly established that this iteration of Green is something the Warriors have to deal with for the remainder of his contract with the team.
